Korean Sports Council in Australia (KSCA) 재호주대한체육회
(Korean Sports Council in Australia, KSCA)는 1987년 대한체육회의 해외지부로 설립된 비영리단체로, 호주 내 한인 사회의 체육 활성화와 단합을 목표로 활동하고 있습니다.
KSCA는 NSW, ACT, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA 등 8개 지역 지회를 운영하며, 다양한 산하 체육 단체들과 협력하고 있습니다. 우리 체육회의 산하 단체에는 태권도, 축구, 골프, 배드민턴, 수영, 테니스, 양궁, 유도 등 다양한 종목이 포함되어 있습니다.
매년 150명 이상의 재호 한인 선수단을 구성하여 전국체전 및 동계체전에 참가하고 있으며, 호주 내에서도 다양한 체육대회를 개최하여 선수들이 기량을 겨루고 교류할 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다. 이를 통해 한인 선수들이 한국인의 정체성을 유지하면서도 호주 사회에 자연스럽게 융합할 수 있도록 지원하고 있습니다.
KSCA는 13만 명에 달하는 호주 한인 동포들의 건강한 스포츠 활동을 장려하며, 특히 우수한 재호 한인 선수들이 한국 및 국제 무대에서 활약할 수 있도록 지원하고 있습니다.
이 모든 활동은 후원사, 산하 단체, 교민 단체, 그리고 수많은 자원봉사자들의 헌신적인 노력과 지원 덕분에 가능했습니다. KSCA는 앞으로도 스포츠를 통해 호주 한인 사회가 하나 되는 장을 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠습니다.

Korean Sports Council in Australia (KSCA)
Established in 1987 as an overseas branch of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, the Korean Sports Council in Australia (KSCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sports and fostering unity within the Korean-Australian community.
KSCA operates through eight regional chapters across Australia, including NSW, ACT, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, and WA, and collaborates with numerous affiliated sports organizations. Our affiliated sports cover a wide range of disciplines, including taekwondo, soccer, golf, badminton, swimming, tennis, archery, martial arts, and more.
Each year, we proudly send a delegation of over 150 Korean-Australian athletes to represent our community at the National Sports Festival and Winter Sports Festival in Korea. We also support and organize various sports competitions within Australia, providing opportunities for athletes to compete, connect, and strengthen their Korean identity while integrating into the broader Australian society.
Our mission is to support the 130,000-strong Korean-Australian community in leading an active and healthy lifestyle through sports. Additionally, we assist talented Korean-Australian athletes in advancing their careers and gaining exposure to Korean and international sports arenas.
KSCA has grown thanks to the dedicated support of sponsors, affiliated organizations, community groups, and countless volunteers.
